Huckabee to speak at JBU

MIKE HUCKABEE served as Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas from 1993 until July 1996 when he became Governor after his predecessor resigned, becoming one of the youngest governors in the country at the time. Huckabee was elected to a full four-year term as governor in 1998 and was reelected in November 2002. He pushed through education reforms in Arkansas that significantly expanded the availability of college scholarships, increased the number of charter schools, and established new approaches to workforce education.  After serving as Governor, Huckabee ran for U.S. President in 2008 and 2016. Huckabee provided political commentary to the Fox News channel and was given his own weekend talk show, Huckabee, which first aired on Fox News in 2007. He has also hosted several talk-radio shows. Huckabee enjoys hunting, fishing and reading. He and his wife, Janet, have three grown children: John Mark, David, and Sarah. His daughter, Sarah, serves as Governor of Arkansas.

JIM DENISON, Ph.D. is a cultural theologian and the founder and CEO of Denison Ministries, which is transforming 6.8 million lives through meaningful digital content. INSPIRED Exhibit

The INSPIRED Exhibit tells the story of the greatest book ever written: the Bible, and how the most banned book in history became the world's all-time best seller. Ancient artifacts and written materials speak to visitors an understanding of how the Bible was written and preserved through the ages and how it has survived every attempt to suppress it. Working with private collectors to tell this incredible story, the exhibit showcases items rarely seen outside of a museum. Tactile activities assist visitors in the learning process, including the operation of a working replica of Gutenberg’s printing press. The exhibit is open to the public at The Keeter Center, April 5- 20.
